US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Pre-assigned Exit Seats on 767?

I don't normally fly US international. I just booked seats on the 767 to MUC looking to use up my SWUs. (It's a week away and "all 9s" in J/C/P classes -- an easy UG for a Gold this time of year?)

I was rather surpised that I couldn't book a good seat in economy as a back-up. Row 5 was reserved for babies. 12 CDE for handicapped, so it only left 12 AB/FG, which are not that great according to Seatguru. Has anyone been able to get around this?

I think you needn't worry about seats in Y. Upgrades should be very easy to MUC this time of year. Good luck!
