US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Great Flights on US

Had an opportunity to fly USAir this past weekend from NC to NY state connecting service in CLT outbound & PHL return. Every agent I came in contact with from ticket counter, gate agents to flight crew were wonderful. I know this is a stressful time for all of us airline employees. Great job!
Nice to hear someone say something positive about this airline for a change!
Personally I have been treated like gold by USairways 99% of the time and am quite tired of everyone here trashing them. They're struggling for survival, and while the management occasionally makes mistakes, (what management doesn't?) they seem to be trying hard to save their airline and the thousands of jobs that go with it.
How about a little less whining?

I think that if you look at most of the US regulars here that you will see nothing but praise for the US employees. We are their largest supporters. We don't agree with some of the management comments and decisions.
Also we fly US probably more than most people. We are showing our support where managment should be happy. We are buying tickets.
Trust me we would be the happiest bunch of people to see US succeed and emerge from bankruptcy.

Totally agree with safetymom. The loyal US cockroaches fly this airline because it goes where we want to go, the frontline employees are great, and the elite benefits were outstanding. That is changing for me and it is not because of the employees; part is management attitude towards their VFFers. Part are the cutbacks on schedule, service and equipment (RJs-CLT-STL now; res closed after midnight) and part are the minor things we notice like no more Heineken.
We are not trashing US or its employees, we just do not like the way senior management is treating us or its frontline employees. However, I am not going to fly a RJ that requires a connection when I can be on a non-stop MD-80 with MRTC and a chance to be in FC.
BTW, AnotherAAgent , I have some SOSs for you for your kind post on US. Email me before they are extinct.

I appreciate the offer biggs but I must decline. Have you posted on the SOS thread on AA? I think there are some employees looking for some. Thanks again.

I just flew UA first class (on a 737, so not high expectations) over the weekend, and I have to say that I prefer US's.
