US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - International Check-In with USAirways for partner airlines?

A real basic question; if I am flying a USAirways international partner (which these days is almost just Qantas) and flying USAirways first domestically, do I check in at the international USAirways desk or domestic?

I would imagine that the domestic FC/Preferred desk can help you. One time when I had the occasion to fly coach transatlantic instead of Envoy, I was directed to check in at the domestic FC/Preferred desk.
