Caribbean - Antigua or Jamaica for Easter - with a one year old?

We are off to either Antigua or Jamaica - the two islands where our miles will take us on the dates we'd like to go. It would be our second trip to the Caribbean, the first being the Virgin Islands not too long ago.

Do FTers have advice on pros and cons for a week long stay in these two locations? I am not focused on budget (since we will probably find a moderately priced place in either location) but more on spending a week with decent food, a good beach, and somewhere which is really child friendly.

With an infant, you'll likely be at an all-inclusive and not leave the resort. Try Pebbles or FDR Resort in Jamaica. Both are east of Montego Bay, maybe 60-90 mins drive. Every family has a nanny assigned to them for the duration of the stay. Yep. Very nice.

Both those recommendations look great. One is sold out however, the other is SIX HUNDRED a night :(:(

Ouch. Your dates must coincide with a heavy travel period, such as mid-term school holiday in Ontario (week of March 14th by any chance?). MBJ is very popular with Canadians.

For something more affordable, try the Holiday Inn Montego Bay or Hilton Rose Hall (nice pool, kids club, beach).
