Going to Nashua, NH for business the week of Feb 6th. Should be arriving about 5PM. Already have hotel reservations. Being from Pittsburgh I'd like to find a good place to watch the game and get a good meal. Prefer some place that's not going to end up in a brawl as the game progresses.

Can anyone recommend a good place and do I need reservations that night?

Thanks

Don't have a suggestion, but a heads-up: if your reservations are at the Sheraton Tara, it just closed without notice.

99 Restaurants (http://the99.know-where.com/the99/cgi/selection?state-map=NH&option=&mapid=US&lang=en&design=default&country=US&region_name=New+Hampshire&region=&place=&map.x=292&map.y=336) are probably pretty equivalent to Primanti's Bros. (less the sandwich) in menu and feel. I have no idea what level you're going for, or if you are trying to find a local's place, but if you are looking for a slightly less generic than the national chains place....

For the most part, Nashua is a foul and wretched place, utterly without character or redeeming value. However, it does have a bright spot or two, and Michael Timothy's (http://www.michaeltimothys.com/) is one of those. It's half bar, half restaurant, and the bar is where you'd want to be. Top-rate wine list and excellent food. Open on Sunday evenings from 4pm.

Thanks for the advice, I'm staying at the Residence Inn, so just might get a sixpack and a pizza and watch it in the room.

Just FYI, the Radisson (formerly Sheraton Tara) has apparently reopened (
http://www.boston.com/news/local/new_hampshire/articles/2011/02/03/nh_hotel_reopens_after_sudden_shutdown/), but it definitely sounds like they're still in a precarious financial situation.

To my knowledge, the very similar hotel in Framingham is still around. It was sold in November, so presumably the new owners are going to make a go of it.

Well ended up watching the game in the lobby of the Residence Inn. They put out a spread of game food, and we provided our own beer, but did not quite get the results I was hoping for.
