I did a search, but "Fairmont Bed" is heavily mentioned under every thread.

I am considering a Fairmont Bed, and was wondering if anyone has actually purchased one and the accompanying linens.

Or would someone suggest the Westin Heavenly to be better?

Fairmont Bed (http://www.fairmontstore.com/category.aspx?category1=Bed&category1Name=Bed&categoryLevel=0)
Queen Bed + Frame + Full Linens (4 Pillows) + Delivery = $3880 without discounts.

Westin Heavenly (http://shop.nordstrom.com/c/westin-heavenly-bed-ordering-the-heavenly-bed?origin=cat-header)
Same as above = $2875+Delivery

Or some websites offer similar linens for 1/3 of the authentic brand's cost.
Something I will have to consider.

I would go bananas on a King, but I don't think I will ever have a house that can fit that type of bed.

Ancien Maestro, do your colleagues get a hefty discount on these?

Currently resting on the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper. Purchased as an employee for about $300, cost at the time, about 6 years ago.

No frame or linens, but considerably less than what retail appears to be.

I hate King beds. I used to have one but hated it because I couldn't reach the night stand when the alarm went off... It's too far away for me! I switched to a Queen and I'm very happy.:D
