Saw an interesting schedule change:
DCA-RDU
Dec. 17:
7 n/s turboprop flights on Piedmont or PSA
Jan.7"
6 n/s RJ flights on Mesa and, get this, Midway Air.

I think that one of the deals with ALPA with regard to the RJ mess was that Midway had to have a revenue flight by 12/31/02.
Or something. I think they (Midway) only has a single RJ on the property at this point.

Wasn't the deadline 12/31/03???
Just checked and the RJs show up on Jan 1 with Midway I think as the carrier.
If Midway arises from the dead, that should mean US isn't cooked yet because bringing back Midway is a miracle so US surviving should be a piece of cake. Eternally the optimist.

I don't mind the RJ's. Give me the exit row (seat A where there's one seat) and I'm quite happy.
Just bought a set of those Bose noise cancelling headphones......I don't hear a thing!
