Nice find.^ I think that the Belvedere Suite is the Royal Suite, and if that's the case, this deal is pretty steep.. the Banff Spring Presidential Suite for $1,907 and breakfast for two is an excellent deal though.

Not quite AFAIK. There is only one Royal Suite (larger suite with a nice balcony overlooking the lake) while there are several Belvedere Suites (and only some overlook the lake). Still $2k/night is more than I´m able/willing to pay.

All packages unless noted otherwise are subject to availability, priced per room, per night, valid through December 30, 2007, exclude taxes and are based on double occupancy. Prices in U.S. dollars based on current foreign exchange rates.

Oops, I was just googling for Fairmont suite packages
and that was the first page displayed.
As the economy was still doing fine in 2007, maybe some of those packages are cheaper now? ;)

It was definitely interesting to look at all the different offers.
And even if they were valid in 2011, wouldn't matter to me, as I don't have $1907 or $1911 to spend on something like this at the moment. :D
