While the DCA-BTV is an upgrade from current turboprop service, the PIT-BTV is a downgrade from 737 service.

About two months ago I sat on a D-328 both ways PIT-BTV-PIT.

However, I don't know how many daily flights there are/were, nor how many are/were Express.

What is not in that press release is that all PHL-BTV-PHL traffic goes to RJ's at the same time. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif I got a call the other day about the change for a flight on February 9th.

I hoping that the change will not hold due to the new ALPA agreement. Previously, US had planned on decreasing the mainline fleet to 245 aircraft. Now, with the new agreement, US has committed to maintaining the fleet at 279 aircraft. They have to use the extra planes somewhere and I hoping BTV will be one of their first choices.

Still pretty surprised about this... While I wouldnt call the flights outta BVT packed, the later morning flight and the last flight in usually seemed pretty crowded.. Surprised they didnt keep a 737 in at 11:40 and out at 6:30. I know that is what united is switching too at BVT...
That $25 million dollar airport expansion is going to make a nice parking lot for those RJ's
