Last year when I was on an Oceania cruise I met a number of people who claimed that they belonged to a "travel club" that issues emails with great last minute deals for Oceania cruises (cannot remember if it also included Regent cruises) - I lost the information and have been unable to locate it, although I have done many searches with google, CC and FT.

Has anybody heard of this and if so, please share!!

Thank you in advance for your assistance :)

Sorry about the late response I just saw your post. We're 10x Regent cruisers, and have always booked way in advance (recently often 1+ years). AFAIK, Regent fares don't go down close to sailing date - in fact the opposite usually occurs since many (most?) sailings are pretty close to full.

Don't know about Oceania - but as I'm sure you are aware they are both owned by the same entity right now.

We'll sail on our seventh Oceania cruise in March. Our experience with them is the same as peteropny's with Regent. AFAIK it's part of their overall marketing strategy.

I'd certainly be happy to see confirmed info about that travel club and I might even join. :)
