Religious Travelers - Visa question for Umrah trip in APRIL

planning to go to Saudi Arabia for "umrah" in April ; I have a question re: getting the visa.....

Can I just fill out the form for the visa and meet the requirements and send it to the Saudi Embassy here in Wash DC, or do I have to go thru a travel agent or company??

Im using CO miles to fly to DXB and then book cheap flights to Makkah using Air Arabia, a LCC there FROM Sharjah.

You have to go through an approved agent from Ministry of Hajj Saudi Arabia to obtain the Umrah visa.
