US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - PHL-FRA great trip!

Flew IND-PHL-FRA on Airbus 11/05/02 755p - 955a US 894

Never flown transatlantic on US before and the video entertainment available was astounding.

Sat in seat 34H - flight about 50% full which was nice (unless you are a stockholder in US).

Video entertainment system worked great, plenty of choices to pick from, etc.

Hopefully return flight on 11/28/02 will be just as good.

If you thought that was good, you should upgrade to ENVOY for your return and see how nice that is!

Just my opinion but I think PHL-FRA is the best route in the US system for quality of FAs, service, and food.

There are a few German flight attendants-- frequent travellers to Frankfurt know them for sure -- who are just FANTASTIC.

You are right the flight attendents - they were VERY nice in the back of the plane where I was (34H).

Came up to me and verified I had ordered a veggie meal. Good service. Just overall pleasant!

I can also vouch for the wonderful service and attentiveness of the flight crew. I flew from FRA to PHL on 893 yesterday in Envoy Class. As there are no flight trackers on these flights the Captain was good enough to come to my seat and explain the route that we were taking. Unfortunately for ninety percent of the flight it was cloudy.

How was that veggie meal? What did you get? My wife is a vegetarian. We're flying Envoy to Madrid in a couple weeks and to Manchester in March. She has not been happy at all in the past with US veggie meals, including in envoy.
