Whoops - actually my suggestion was already mentioned. But there's also double dipping with Hilton Honors, converting Membership Rewards Points to Dividend Miles, converting Club Rewards Points to Dividend Miles, and getting miles for Hertz, Avis and other car rentals.

Hmmm... I don't see the obvious mentioned yet: you first have to enroll and open a Dividend Miles Account (https://dps2.usairways.com/cgi-bin/enroll.cgi).

And after signing up for a Dividend Miles account - remember that you can get Dividend Miles for trips on United as well (can't double dip though).
