InterContinental Hotels: Priority Club & Inter-Continental Ambassador - How to add PC number to reservation on new website?

The title says it all really - some of my hotels are booked through a company travel agent, but always at best flexible rate so qualify for points. They are not able to put my PC number on the booking, but I do get an IHG confirmation number from them.

On the old PC website, I could view that reservation and there was a link at the top to add a PC number to the reservation, but I can't find that option on the new version of the website (and can't find a way to get back to the old version either).

I know that I could ring the hotel/reservations, or even just present the card at reception, but there must still be a way to do this through the website?

Thanks for the suggestion - I can see the reservation there as well, but no obvious option to link it to the PC account.

I have had similar problems, when using our company travel agent website for bookings.

Some do show up prior to the day others do not, I think it is the way the company website do the booking. Some of the hotels appears the day after i make the booking, they put the emailed confirmation and PC number back into the system at the hotel to tag it to the PC number.

I have tried emailing and faxing other HI's after I receive my company travel agent booking, but they do not seem to add to the PC account.

The only way to make sure you get the PC account is to give the number at check-in.

and then wait the 5-7 days, then it seems pot luck if it is qualifying or not..... during 2010 (sweet dilemma period) only 70% success, in 2011 100% so far

If you switch languages on the site, you can get to the old-style version.

I did try the French version (as the only other language I speak) but just got the same version (with a message in French saying "welcome to our new website") :-)

Just call the hotel you made reservations at or Priority Club and they will add it on for you. We add priority club numbers on to pre-existing reserations all the time.^

Thanks for the further comments - at the moment, I have a couple of ways round this; my personal laptop is still getting the old version of the PC site, and on any other PC I change to the Italian version which has not yet been updated (although it does mean that the reservation confirmation email is in Italian, which caused some confusion at a Holiday Inn Express in London when they couldn't find my booking and asked if I had the reservation details with me :)).

At some point, I expect both of these will stop working so I'll explore other browsers or call the hotel.

Here's my way around this as posted on a similar thread:

"I've had similar problems to this in the past. The way I did it was to go to the main IHG site but not log in.

Click on reservations and you should see a panel on the left hand side for "My next reservation".

Add in your surname and confirmation number and then click on "View this reservation".

When you access the reservation this way it allows you to add PCR number, like the old website used to."
