Hi,
I travel next month to Sydney (AF to Hong Kong and then code share with Qantas to Sydney) and I have been successful in allocating seats through the "Manage my booking" tool on the AF website in 3 of the 4 flights only. When I tried to allocate a seat on the HK-SYD leg, I noticed that all seats are unavailable. I initially thought that this was due to the fact that this is a code share flight on Qantas metal and that therefore I would not be able to choose my seat. However, I did manage to choose a seat on the SYD-HK flight. Would this mean there are no places available on the HK-SYD leg? Has anybody experienced this before? And should I worry?
