If we qualify for the platinum or premium status at the end of 2010 calendar year, when should we expect to receive the 2011 platinum or premier package in the mail, and when should we see the membership status reflected online??

Anytime between now and the end of February, as the membership year officially starts March 1.

If you want to apply any of the free night/upgrade certs now, you can always call/mail FPC and they can "manually" update your profile and you can then redeem the certs electronically.

A year ago, I qualified for Premier in late December. I think my kit arrived in early March, and the website updated in the first week of March. It's literally like they waited until March 1 to tally up who's qualified for what.

If you qualified by sometime in September, you can call and they will give you an extra set of certs that expire this Feb 28.

I can vouch for making reservations using certificates before they physically arrive.

I wouldn't hold my breath for before March 1st.. usually kits for the past 7 or 8 years is early March at best.. Year's ago, they would send it out late April.
