US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Will United segments count towards the current Chairman's Preferred challenge???

As many of you are, I'm signed up for the current Chairman's Preferred challenge that will give me CP automatically for flying 20 segments between October 1st and December 15th of this year. I was thinking of calling the DM service center to ask this question, but I wanted to see if anyone else had found out if United segments will go towards this (assuming you use your USAirways DM number on your reservation instead of your MileagePlus number).
No, because only Preferred miles (and that too, only the actual flight miles, not any of the Preferred bonuses such as Get Out More or Philly Wings...) will count toward these challenges.
United miles will not count as Preferred miles until 1/1/03.
It would be nice wouldn't it--you could do the famed mileage run to SIN for instant Chairman's!

How did you sign up for it? I can't find the code anywhere.
