Hey, first time flying on VX, and I have a question that I haven't been able to find a specific answer for:

I want to upgrade to First for MCO-SFO, but I saw that you have to wait till 6 hours out for that (I tried at 24 hours, because some posts say you can do it at 24, but it didn't work. In the meantime, all the MCS seats started to go away, so I grabbed 2 exit rows and paid for them.

Haven't checked in, because everything I've read says that if you check in, the ability to upgrade goes away.

Will I be able to upgrade to FC tomorrow if the seats are still available? (There's 6 seats open on the flight right now.) And if so, what will the price be? $110 less than the M->F? Something else entirely?

Help?

Yes. $110 less.

The ability to upgrade doesn't go away if you're checked in, you just have to call in and get unchecked-in first.

The cost to upgrade from Main Cabin -> Main Cabin Select and then Main Cabin Select -> First Class is the same as just upgrading from Main Cabin to First Class.

Perfect! That should be in the FAQ :)

Thanks!
