I just looked through the pile of US paperwork and discovered that the two $40 travel vouchers (credits) from last year expired on 9/22. How close to the expiration date do they hold when purchasing upgrade certs?

I have two choices. 1) Go to the local New Haven airport (not fully staffed) over the weekend or Monday or 2) wait until I am in a larger airport (BDL, PHY, SAN) later in the week.

Or has my inattention to details just cost me $80?

I had a $30 voucher that I attempted to use when I joined the Club, but that didn't work. They said it was only good for travel. But since I buy all my tix on the website, I never was able to use the voucher. I didn't realize it had an expiration date, so I tried to use it to buy upgrade certs, and she told me it had expired. She said there was no way to extend it.

The vouchers are only good towards buying tickets, not upgrades (I've tried that). I sent a just-about-to-expire one to Customer Relations last year and they reissued it (supposedly on a one-time basis).

If you think going to an airport to use the voucher is difficult, remember I have to drive 150 miles and cross a national boundary to get to my nearest US ticket counter!

Last time, I used the vouchers to purchase the $120 4 upgrade pack.
