Singapore - Clearing Customs & Immigration twice within two weeks? Problems?

Hello all,
Not sure wether this is the right forum, but I'm currently planning a trip around SE Asia. I have a question I was hoping you might be able to answer.
The thing is: I'll be arriving on a Air Asia flight from Phuket, and I want to connect to a Jetstar flight to Indonesia. Since I have bags to check, I assume I'll have to clear customs and immigration to check in at Jetstar. No problem normally, however, on the way back from Indonesia I'll be travelling trough Singapore again, and this time I want to stay there for a few days. Would that cause any problems at Immigration? I mean, since I was in the country already a two weeks earlier?
Kind regards,
Robert

What he said. Everybody transits at SIN and Immigration only starts raising eyebrows if you spend months at a stretch in the country on a tourist visa.

In the past, I've cleared immigration and customs in Singapore twice in the same day. No problem.

It shouldn't be a problem. In your scenario, Sing Immigration takes note of when was your first arrival in Singapore and what period of stay you were allowed. It would seem to me that you should be ok to return within two weeks; if you're American you would be allowed (if memory serves) 30 days upon entry. Thus if you exited Singapore but returned for a second time within the original 30 time frame you should be ok. Singapore knows it's a transit airport and quite a few business travelers mirror the in and out and in again routing you're concerned about. In a worse case situation show the Immigration officer your return ticket if asked. I really doubt you're going to have any problems.

once a year, since 2008, I clear SIN customs 6 times in 3 weeks. Never any problem. They are used to be a "base" for extended Aisa tours, so they don't mind.
On a mileage run (ending at PER) a few years back, I cleared Singapore immigration twice within not much more than 24 hours. No problem.

Singapore is not like some paranoid countries in the West. eg USA, UK, Australia. You may go in and out as often as you like .. in a day!

So what's paranoid about the UK (of which I am a citizen)?
I could go through customs/immigration half a dozen times a day and they wouldn't bat an eyelid.
Maybe they would with you though.
Oh, and should I also mention I have dual citizenship with Australia.
I'm sure they'd love to know you were coming (you could send me the details and I could pass them on to Immigration).

Short answer - NO. So many people come in and out of Singapore 5-6 times a month.
