Best Western Rewards - Bestwestern.com booking in foreign currency

I prefer to booking hotels quoted in local currencies because I am concerned about the conversion rate provided by the hotels. When I tired to book a Best Western hotel in Japan at bestwestern.com, although the rate was quoted in JPY, the booking confirmation page shows the rate in USD. I am confused about what the guaranteed rate is since the exchange rate changes every day. Did anyone book a hotel in Japan at bestwestern.com before? What rate did you get charged?

It would probably be best to contact Best Western and ask them. When I booked a hotel in Ireland, my reservation rate was quoted in the local currency.

Upon checkout they offered me the choice of currency for my payment.
