Is there free booze in the clubs?

No.

You only get free booze if you're flying First/Envoy to Europe.

I get MY free booze when I upgrade to 1st class on my connecting flight. I usually get good an' liquored in full view of those less fourtunate in the back of the plane, and butter up the FAs to let me pocket three or four cold cans of Heineken before I get off.

It's a great system.

Or you could always make friends with someone who is flying First/Envoy to Europe, and they will get the free drinks for you http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I'm a US Airways club member, and while keeping my fingers crossed for a SWU on my return FRA-PIT this Sunday, it doesn't look very likely. My question is, will I be able to use the FRA lounge with just my card & coach ticket-- assuming no upgrade? Also is this a 'group' lounge for many airlines? (I also have a Presidents Club CO card if they share a facility.)

The only non-US clubs you can use your US card at are Qantas Clubs in the USA, Asia, and the South Pacific region. The FRA lounge is only for C/F passengers. There may be a CO club option there. Check the PC WWW site.

If you access the US Club with your Qantas Club card, do you get free booze vouchers like you do if you access the Admirals Club with your Qantas Club card?

The LGW US Airways Club has free booze for all passengers (but I don't think they have any beer there at all http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/frown.gif).

Does United offer free booze? After the agreement is final, and we can access United clubs, this may be a good incentive to rejoin.

US Domestic MEMBERSHIP clubs with an open bar include: Alaska (beer, wine, and vodka only); America West (except CMH where it is $1.00); Continental, Delta, Northwest, and the United and American clubs in Miami only (last I checked). All others charge for alcohol unless you have vouchers for being in international premium cabins.

All international UA RCCs have free booze.
