Any one have any suggestions for day trips from Oslo?
Someone had suggested Kongsberg Marken, I think I may do that.
I am trying to figure out how I am going to fit in the Bergen trip. I will do it, just have to finagle my schedule.

The Oslo-Bergen trip is a definite MUST but you can't do it return in a day.
Frankly, I'd recommend going directly to Bergen & doing trips from there.
Day 1 Explore Bergen (Fish Market, Bryggen, light rail up Floyen, Aquarium
Day 2 Express fiord boat to Flam, up & down the railway to Myrdal and back on the boat to Bergen
Day 3 Fast Catamaran to Stavanger & then back to Oslo by train.
If you have more time available, seriously consider the Hurtigruten (Norwegian Coastal Voyage). A ship leaves Bergen everyday of the year for the 12 day round trip but you can buy segments from 1 day to the whole trip.
If you're travelling between mid May & mid September, I'd suggest the 2 night trip to Trondheim which would include a cruise in the Geiranger Fiord.
Then spend a day exploring Trondheim (especially the restored Cathedral) & then back to Oslo by train.
Norway is wonderful. Can't wait to get back there again.

The old fortress town of Fredrikstad can easily be reached by train for a day trip.
Another possibility is to go to Lillehammer, where you have the Maihaugen open air museum. Nearby you can find the Norwegian emigration museum, which you may find interesting if you have Norwegian ancestors.
Oscarsborg fortress on an island in the Oslofjord is also well worth a visit.

Depends on the season - when are you coming over?

For better scenery, take the train Oslo-Bergen, then fly home from Stavanger.
Also, I just posted a longish bit in another thread here about Bergen on what to do when there.
