Washington D.C. (including Baltimore) - How well does BWI handle snow (Tues flight)?

My daughter has a SW flight changing at BWI tomorrow (arriving 1:10pm, departing 2:20 pm). With the expected snow, is that likely to cancel her flights?

You can check in realtime with BWI-airport here:
http://www.bwiairport.com/en/flight/departures

or with SW-airlines here:

Good luck

BWI does a decent job and I think the snow is supposed to be a bit later. But, in general, my experience is that SWA cancels all flights out of a station more quickly than other airlines.

I think tomorrow should be fine though.

I came here for the same reason since I have a flight leaving at 5:50pm from BWI. There's calling for 2-4 inches right now that is supposed to start in the afternoon. I'm staying optimistic.

Right now, it looks like only DCA & JFK have delays-but they're not due to weather

It's not supposed to be much of anything at BWI tomorrow, just snow showers. But it's not so much how BWI handles snow as it is about aircraft positioning. Southwest could cancel flights in advance of a storm if the forecast changes. Or the aircraft your daughter is scheduled to connect to could be stuck in another city somewhere with bad weather and unable to leave.
Lots of factors come into play, but at least as of now it doesn't look like snow at BWI will be one of them.
