US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Visa Bonus

I have missed this somewhere; how does one qualify for the extra ff miles with one's Visa? Is it retro-active?

Which extra miles ... the 500 mile/trip bonus or the 10,000 Preferred mile bonus?

I think it must be a BOA DM Visa.

I have the BOA USAirways card and was wondering about the extra miles for spending 10k that I have read about on this board. I wondered how to enroll. (Or is it the mileage one gets for initial enrollment?)

Jane,

You have to spend $25k on the Platinum Card in a calender year to get the 10,000 preferred miles. These are not extra miles but are miles earned from your Visa that are converted into preferred miles. Hope this helps.

any way around the $25000 to $50000 minimum balance requirements to get a platinum card ot pat $30.00 per month fee?

You can get a Platinum Card with a credit line of less than $7k. There is a $90 annual fee. The interest rate is not favorable so you'd never want to carry a balance on it if you could help it.

And how.

I had a pi$$ing match with them a couple months back when BofA credited my payment to the wrong account.

There was a ~$25 late charge, about $50 in finance charges, etc. It took a very nasty phone call to get the issue resolved.

BTW, anybody else have problems getting the welcome package out of them???? I ordered the card in May and still have not received the package (read: the free club pass).

I received the club pass with my June statement and the $99 companion certificate in december or january. You can call and request a new certificate.
