I booked one AB coded, NiKi operated flight by an online travel agent (expedia.uk).
I tried to retrieve my trip details on AB and Niki website and would like to add some seat resevation, hot meal order and so on.
Both websites asked me to use these three data to retrieve but all the information I have are e-ticket number and reservation code.
1. booking/invoice number 2. Customer number 3. Postal Code
I have no idea how to find these information. Hope AB experts here could help me solve this problem. I am not in EU now so making a phone call is too expensive for me.
Thanks.

Hi!
You can use the booking reference together with your last name 30 hours before the flight at Airberlin homepage. It doesn't matter which Booking code system the travel agency used, they all seem to work in my experience. There you can chose seat. I think that the seat selection which is possible when buying the ticket on AB homepage is a bit fake since usually the seat availability during check-in online is much better.
I dont know about preordering meals. Pre-ordering is not possible for the short/medium flights online, however I have never made a long-haul flight with AB.

With an Expedia booking (thus with an Amadeus code, mostly) you can only select your seating 30 hours (cet) before your departure with the web check in unless you call Air Berlin using one of their various international, sometimes free of charge hotlines.
This online tool you mentioned, which requires booking number, client number and zip code is only for bookings made via airberlin.com.
If you want to order a meal online you can go to service --> gourmet meal and then choose "booked with a tour operator". Your tour operator is Amadeus. Worked for me.

For anyone stumbling across this, I did find a way to select a seat after making a booking on Orbitz for AB.
If you're on the main page, you go to service->gourmet meals (yes gourmet meals...) from there, hit the "please order your gourmet meal online" button at the bottom of the page.
Once there, you can enter your PNR and last name, and you will be given the option to buy both meals and seat assignments. My seat assignments (zrh-txl-jfk) worked out to be 32eur or roughly $40.
Roundabout method, but it works.

You can now go straight to Flights -> Optional extras and enter PNR. AB no longer use customer number.
