No award travel of any kind can be booked online.
The current strategy also seems to be to control capacity to the point where only ultra-premium awards can be redeemed. There is virtually no inventory available for awards.

200,000 miles does me absolutely no good if I can't use them.

The chickens are coming home to roost...I haven't been following US 'bonuses' too much lately because I haven't really flown them (and won't be - either) since 2001. But I saw someone else posting 30K for a CP transcon recently with all of the bonuses - US is following a slippery slope on this one.
Much like CO, if you give miles away they quickly become meaningless - US has stupidly put themselves in this position right now...just hope whoever takes over my 350K+ when US is liquidated (if anyone does!) isn't CO...doesn't sound like they are going to get used before that.
