US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Trying to burn miles, put on hold for 16 minutes!

Has anyone else noticed this? Also, the flighs which used to be so easy to get flights on, were "not available". Has anyone else noticed this?

I got thru the other day, and the agent told me that 'everyone' was calling requesting to use their miles...doesn't help the profit picture any.

200K US miles to burn here. I was hoping the UA alliance would allow me to use them in ways I never imagined before (that's Hawaii...)

If you're hoping to use your miles on UA, it's good everyone's burning them now while UA isn't yet a partner. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

There was a memo circulated to all reps: "Anyone calling in to redeem miles will be placed on hold, and at least 2 other customers should be tended to prior to getting back on the line with the redeemer." http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif I had the same experience the other day.
