TalkBoard Topics - Suggestion - have an uptodate version of the guidelines available on the TB forum

Now that the original TB guidelines are being amended to reflect tweaks, rewording and changes, there should be on the public TB forum thread which gives the guidelines in their amended forms, which are changed anytime any vote to amend is voted on. I assume there is one of these in the private forum, so it would be a simple matter of just pasting it over here, and it means that all members can see the most uptodate version of the guidelines, without going back to the original passing of the motions and then checking through for subsequent amendments.

It could become one of the duties of an office holder (President/VP) to maintain.

gleff updated it in May 2010 when the last resolution changed the wording of "FlyerTalk President" to "TalkBoard President".

May be worth changing the title of that thread to something more descriptive & relevant though...

As I cautioned in the private TB forum, changing of thread titles is a moderation issue, not a TB issue. Discussing (or even mentioning) the change of a thread title constitutes discussion of moderator actions and is therefore a TOS violation.

Of course, with so many moderators on TB, it's quite possible that some don't realise the difference anyway. :rolleyes:
