Can we still purchase the FT tag ? I only found tshirts :(

F/t luggage tags, at least in their current yellow form, are no longer available but hopefully they will be released again soon.

Not sure if they'll come back unless IB (or that new VC firm) become enterprising. Those were a Randy/HOM item

Randy closed the store at the House of Miles on Dec 31. Internet Brands is to begin making them available soon. I've sent a link to this thread to IB, and hope they will be able to give you more details.

Are you revamping confirmed orders?? I ordered 3 FT tags over 2 weeks ago and they have not arrived. You confirmed the order on the website.

If you're redoing the tags, can we perhaps make them a little smaller and discrete?

I'd like something to identify other FTers with, but not something that screams at the other PAX.

One suggestion is just the letters "ft" in the 'balloon', offered as die-cut, high quality, self-adhesive plastic or metal add-on sticker, maybe 3/4" x 1" or so. Any existing bag tag could be 'converted' Think of it as a FT monogram.

Good Idea - you could also use it to cover your name/number on the bag tag. I don't like people reading my name/number when boarding etc.

Can we buy sheets of stickers, please? Then when DL Dragon FAs (I can't complain... they have been angels TATL recently, and they all adore cooing at Baby TATL lawyer who has been riding shotgun :p ) we can plaster them with FT tags. Like a friendly form of "happy slapping".

Also, I would like to see those tags in both a PLASTIC and a METAL version; the one for expense reasons, the other for durability.

On last check, the tags were not in the new store. However, I believe they were made in-house, as CafePress does not have a template for the FT tag.

A) If the tags could be personalized with Name, Address, cell phone #, etc, to comply with the airline checked luggage ID requirement

or

B) even better if the flip side of the tag had a "If found, the owner can be contacted via www.Flyertalk.com owner locator ID XXXXXXX"

Where XXXXXXX was a code similar to airline record locator. That way if/when I move, I can update the info on FT website and not have to order brand new luggage tags! ^^^

I'm not sure I'd want mine on a checked bag. TSA employees are frequently the target of scorn on the Travel Safety/Security forum here and I'd be worried if they might retaliate in some manner if they saw an FT tag. They could open up your bag and take something (bear in mind a number of these folks have been arrested for theft), not put the proper notice in it, and you'd never be able to tell who was inside it when you picked it up at baggage claim. That and the tags aren't very sturdy to begin with. Nothing like an airline membership card.

Any thoughts on selling FT luggage tags? It would be neat to see fellow FTers in ACs and the like.

Usually a week -- but we were out of stock after a big run on tags (they're incredibly popular!), and had none for almost 2 weeks. This week we fulfilled all outstanding orders so you should have them soon. If not by this time next week, please contact us.
