US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Final segment bonus doesn't yield preferred miles

This bonus, which should have posted today, actually posted last Sunday with the same date as my 4k bonus posted 1.5 weeks ago? and a week before the 6k bonus. The 10k did not go towards my preferred miles. though the 4 and 6k did. Given the Get Out More bonus issues, would you call customer service? Tier wise it makes no difference to me as I reach CP with or without it this weekend.

In your situation, I definitely would not ... you can't get any higher than CP, and you got the miles added to your balance, so all it would do is give you extra preferred miles, which you really don't need it sounds like.

Seconded. You'll get CP no problem and you can't get higher elite than that. That's the main prize. An extra 10k miles that you can burn later is nice, but not really worth asking. Congrats on the new level.

same thing happened to me...I got the 6k, but not as elite miles (and not earned yet either).

What about if it would make a difference in requalifying?

If it made a difference in qualification for an elite level (which it doesn't in Skip's case), I would wait at least a few weeks to see if the problem fixes itself. Sometimes these posting glitches do get fixed on their own without any intervention. As with many bonus code thread enhanced accounts, you often don't want a human reviewing your account activity too closely ...

This has been my experience and modus operandi also. Often things are "fixed" during the end-of-the-month cycle. Sometimes as late as two months later. I never did get the 20K Starwood Preferred Guest segment bonus, even though I registered and flew all the segments (and belong to SPG). But I haven't given up hope, and I ain't gonna call. SOMEONE, likely a non-FT reader, will notice this error, call in, and complain. They'll likely figure out the problem and just fix all accounts without looking into individual ones.

I suspect all will work out.

My final segment on this promo DID post as status miles!

Just a probably off track theory, but could they maybe not post as status miles if you have already made CP? I.e. are there any Silvers or Golds who have had the posting of non status miles under this promo?

All of mine have posted correctly as status miles. Weird posting dates though. "Get Out" is posting as status too. YTD tier miles stands at almost 180k...

I never got that bonus either and thought I qualified. I reread the fine print and the fares had to be Y/B.

Still, NO complaints here.

A current CP member is the only category of being that can be forgiven for not being keenly aware that "Get Out" is a Preferred Mile bonus.

I'm currently gold & had the same thing happen as Skip. I'll likely make CP soon without the additional 10k counting as preferred miles, so I'm taking the advice of FT veterans Beckles, Gardener et. al. and waiting it out, meanwhile happy to have the 1st 10k preferred (4k + 6k) and the other 10k in my account. Thanks FTers from a newcomer!

If you will make CP anyway, do not call in! Past experience of some on this board has demonstrated that it could be mighty risky. My 10K did not show as preferred miles and I do not get the 50 mile kiosk bonus all the time but will I complain (other than on this forum)?
