SEATTLE, Jan. 4, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air have launched a New Year's sale with airfare to several popular Hawaiian destinations starting at $159. Fares are available for travel throughout the Lower 48 states and Hawaii, and are good for travel between Jan. 11 and Feb. 17, 2011. Tickets must be purchased by Jan. 12, 2011, and are available for purchase today at alaskaair.com and horizonair.com.

Yes, because we have to wait for all those pesky PFD discount codes to expire before offering reasonable fares to the Alaskan market. :rolleyes:

(A family member is looking to go to PDX out-of-pocket for some optional work training, but at $400rt, it's not going to happen. AS is going to lose a sale on a flight in three weeks that is currently almost empty. Good job, revenue management! :rolleyes:)
