I thought it could be cool to see what kind of spectrum of people we have on here. I personally follow the Chassidish Hashkafa ( or Hashkufeh ;) )
How 'bout the rest of you FT'ers?

Even chassidisch does not define a hashkafah. Try to ask more pertinent questions, as opposed to use labels. Labels belong on clothing only (and on FFP of course :p)!

Nu, what's wrong with JPF (just plain frum)?

You could put me in that category, even though it is very undefined.
Asking people how they live their religious life would give someone much better of an idea than just use labels.

Perhaps if we inten to use labels, we can use the Shidduch calculator (http://endthemadness.org/frummie/calculator.php) on Frummie (http://endthemadness.org/frummie/home.php)

So many classifications to consider!

Shomer shabbos but steal in business?

Shomer kashrut but sneak on the subway?

Ba'al koreh who beats his wife?

Gabbai who cheats on his taxes?

Teach in a Yeshiva but watch television?

Now, myself? Three more years of intense learning, and I will be educated enough be classified as an Apikoris. I hate all the amateur ones out there.

Of course, I may not be taking this topic seriously.....

You are right. But while I hardly know any yeshiva that promotes watching tv when in yeshiva, I don't see while it is mutually exclusive to determine someones religious level, whereas to go over to qualify someone into the category of epicurian.

I used to consider myself frum. My -159 tells me otherwise. Maybe I should be in touch with Daas Torah more often :D

Yeah, I wonder how come that I got the lowest mark on the index!
I lost marks with the tablecloth issue (question 10), Q4, Q5, Q6, and all the others. :D:D

Epicurian? Wow. So few Jews actually like horses. I'm impressed.

OK, I'm still not taking this too seriously. Simply put, anyone more observant than me is a fanatic, and anyone less observant than me is a goy. The beauty of our people.

By the way I'm a Levi, so at least 97% of you are automatically inferior. And mouth off in return, and when my people are running Jerusalem the way it is supposed to be run, watch your tuchas!

I'm a ben-l'ben descendant of the Davidic line. So you may sing in the Beit Hamikdash; I will be your king though!! :p:D

Will you then order your sub ordinates to move the King David Lounge to Jerusalem?

There will be no King David Lounge. Just many King Josh Lounges :D

And visitors of the Dan Lounge will also have to pay a contribution to rebuild the Beth Hamikdash under your kingdom....

Well, the plan is for it to be rebuilt to coincide with my ascension to the throne.

Epicurian = Apikores. AFAIK, rhe Rambam gives a whole list of criteria that would define someone as apikores.

As you are a Levi, may I warn you to watch your real estate ownership too, since Levi'in and Cohanim do not own land [for agriculture], which is why a Yisrael needs to donate Challah, Ma'aser (10%), etc.

When I lived in Tveria, My apartment was halfway up the mountain, down the road from the RAMBAM. Very quiet neighbor.
