US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Will you be a new level this year?

I get the feeling that many folks on this board who are silver will become gold this year. Many golds will become chairmans. Just wondering if people will be getting an unexpected upgrade in level this year?

I, myself, qualified as CP last year with a reduced segment total of 85. After having this one year as CP I was expecting to drop back to gold next year, as I'd never come close enough to 100 segments or 100k miles.

The Get Out More bonus offer has me pretty confident I'll requalify as CP this year. Anyone else expecting such good fortune?

I too think I will make CP. I have never in my life made status with miles before, always segments. But now I am already Gold per miles, and well on the way to CP based on miles. The 3x shuttle bonus is really helping. I have only been top teer with CO, so am looking forward to both getting CP, and in getting 500 miles for all the dmup01's I will be able to trade in for miles. Plus a handful of SWU's. This year I moved from Silver, to Gold, and hopefully CP in the not too distant future.

I'm going to petition US for a new level - my upgrade success on SFO/PIT is about 20% with the milage bonus explosion and devaluation of CP

235K actual last year
316K Preferred miles on the clock so far this year.

yes, I'm joking....

I've been gold this year because of the gold-for-48-segments last year. I'll make CP on miles soon and hit 100 segments shortly thereafter.

I made Gold last year on a challenge and would have struggled mightily to maintain it. Now, Chariman's is a long shot, but not out of the question.

Requal. for Gold is a done deal. I'm shooting for CP but may fall short. I will know the full picture in Mid Oct. after a busy few months. May have to do a milage run and BOA Visa bonus to hit it. I want CP more for ego plus travel will slow down after this year. It will at least keep me preferred until 2006. Then again, I thought my travel would be 0 this year and I'm at 40 segments and 50K. So much for planning.

I made Gold last year through a challenge.

Then I moved to AMS, and figured that I'd make nothing this year. But thanks to the recent promos and 3 trans-atlantic segments this summer, at LEAST I'll re-qualify for Silver on my own. But big deal, being Gold has sure been nice.

I can't complain. At least I moved somewhere US serves and I can still use my miles. If I stil lived in SFO, I'd have figured out how to keep my Gold or even make CP.
