I recently stayed at the Ariau Towers http://www.ariautowers.com/ which was an outstanding experience. I wonder if there are better ones since I m planning a retrun visit. Anybody have better choices?

I recently stayed at the Ariau Towers http://www.ariautowers.com/ which was an outstanding experience. I wonder if there are better ones since I m planning a retrun visit. Anybody have better choices?
By "Amazon," you mean just Manaus? It's an awfully big region. I stayed at the Hotel Tripical over 15 years ago and enjoyed it, but the seletion of hotels in Manaus has undoubtedly changed. Have more recently stayed in Belem, which, like Manaus, is actually not on the Amazon but awfully close. We stayed at a basic, business hotel, with very small rooms, I wouldn't recommend.
