Groupon has a coupon for $30 worth of food and drinks at the Spenard Roadhouse for $15. This could fit in great with my travle plans next year. Any thoughts? I am not looking for fine dining, just a place to get a simple but decent meal before flying on a red eye flight sometime in the future.

Thanks!

I've never been there, but their Tripadvisor reviews generally look good. http://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g60880-d1395091-Reviews-Spenard_Roadhouse-Anchorage_Alaska.html

That it is.

It's run by the owners of Sack's (the cafe downtown on, what is it, H Street?) and Snow City. It's sort of their fancified idea of what Americana roadhouse food is with a bit of Pacific Northwest hipness tossed in the mix.
