Hi world travelers,

We are 6 young boys going on the vacation of our lives flying from Bergen, Norway to Washington DC, then driving an RV across the country and then flying home from California.

Does anyone know the cheaper way to do this? its in the period around 8th -31 July. but some minor changes to the dates can be done. It looks to us as flying SAS from Bergen to Dulles and then back to Bergen from John Wayne Int. (SNA-Orange County -CALIFORNIA) is the cheapest solution but we might be wrong????? very interested in hearing other alternatives or suggestions..

The mentioned route seems to be around 1300$. Anything below this would be very much appreciated.

Thanks and fly safe,

Markus

Welcome to FT. You posted this in the Los Angeles area travel section, which may not be the best group for the answers you are looking for. I presume you are just at the point where you are looking for the best airfare options. You may wish to post on the SAS board as well as some of the boards for transatlantic travel, such as British Air and some of the American airlines, which include Continental, United, Delta, and American (AA).

If you are looking for suggestions for where to go in the US, and what routes to take, you may wish to post questions in the regional travel boards. If you are looking for ideas about where to stay and what to do in the Los Angeles area, this is the place to post.
