Continuing my them of newbie questions on US - Does US still offer complimentary limo service or speedlink service for arriving J/F class pasid passengers ? I have a LGW-LHW connection with loads of time - arrive 9:15 a.m. at LGW leave LHR at 1:50 p.m. - was thinking about Arrivals Lounge visit till about 10:30 or 11:00 a.m. and then limo to LHR - though they might only offer Speedlink - It is on a Sunday, so hopefully the traffic won't be too bad for LGW-LHR.
Also, given the ramp up in the summer schedule (2x PHL-LGW-PHL) How is check-in at LGW - flights look full - Is it a mess ? Does US have a sufficient ENVOY line ? How about an F line ? THANKS AGAIN for all the help - kazman

I cant help on the benefits of F/J tickets.
However yes, the LGW flights are generally booked for the next few weeks (I have been watching some flights for friends). Coach generally booked, envoy and first about half full. Given the prices most people are paying, this is good revenue for the company.
Check-in at LGW is good. There is a nice Envoy/First line that is 'closest to the door' - ie you would pass it to get to the coach line - its hard to miss. Despite the LGW-US flights all leaving generally around the same times, the Envoy/First checkin lines move fast.
Safe travels.

What a thing to keep in mind!...
First Class and Envoy Class customers are offered a complimentary First Class rail ticket on Gatwick Express, departing nonstop every 15 minutes to central London. Alternatively, First Class and Envoy Class passengers can choose complimentary limousine service for destinations within a 50-mile radius of Gatwick or a complimentary ticket on the Speedlink coach service for transfers to London Heathrow.

Note that the free train travel or limo service is only for paid F/Envoy, not upgrades.
Also, the free Gatwick express ticket is RT, while the limo service is one way.

***** UPDATE ***** arrived LGW - Priority tags were worthless - bags were near the end, so it took quite a while for me to exit bagclaim - could not find the US limo driver, turns out he was paging me - we actually passed each other - he was concerned that I had not arrived due to the length of time it took me to through bag claim - found each other, asked him to wait a half hour and I visited the Arrivals Lounge - FANTASTIC - terrific shower , got clothes pressed, driver waited right outside and presto - we were on our way - great service - will add flight details upon return - kazman
