Travel Tools - Online tool for tracking credit card spending to achieve sign up bonuses?

Is there an online tool or web site where I could keep track of my spending on specific credit cards in order to meet deadline to achieve signup mileage bonus? I would like to enter credit card name, dollar total to reach, time frame, amount of bonus, and dollars spent so far. It would be preferable to do this on a single page. I guess I could set this up in Excel but I figured it would be easier if something already exists. Thanks.

It would probably take you 5 minutes to set the information up in Excel. The time consuming part is keeping the information updated.

Welcome to FT, joshfuld!

I just use a text file. It takes 10 seconds to set up and keep track of everything.

Thanks for the welcome. I already set it up in Excel. Very basic. The only computation is subtracting $ spent from total $ needed to reach reward.

Yeah I tend to just use excel (or google docs spreadsheet). What I REALLY wanted to get going was timed email alerts to remind me when I need to take action on a card, like cancel or reminders to meet a spend. But, never got around to that.

If you call the service number on the back of the credit card, they can tell you the total amount that you have spent on that credit card.

I would recommend you drop the spreadsheet concept for churning cards. I would go with Yodlee.com to track your cards.

I use my work Outlook account to create tasks to remind me of certain things (buy coins, cancel a card ahead of a fee etc.) but it this case there's obviously no way to tie in to a card balance or spend.

You are all much more high tech than me.

My low tech solution: I put an adhesive sticker (an Avery sticker) on the card. Each time I use the card, I simply add each purchase so that the little sticker shows a running total. (Never mind the pennies - I just round down the dollar amount of the purchase.) Easy and very effective. I've never had a store clerk question why I had that little sticker on my credit card.

I do the same (sticker concept) on my credit cards and on my gift cards, as well. I always know my balance on the gift cards as I start with the gift card amount and subtract each purchase. Easy!

Zoho - Easily accessible via mobile too (i like the mobile interface on my bb much better than google docs...). While they process my coin deposits i login and record the transaction.

Like dalm & GetawaysRus, I use the lowtech method - masking tape! :D

I must be really old fashioned. I write my running totals down on a piece of paper.
Yes, I am old enough to receive senior citizen discounts lots of places. :D
