US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Problems w/USAir Website
I was looking at fares for a flight for a trip DCA-PBI. I had both the USAir website and the Travelocity website open at the same time. Travelocity showed me a pretty good fare leaving around 1PM, but that fare was nowhere to be seen on the USAir website. I tried to be more specific at the USAir site preferencing my desired departure at 1PM...the same departures showed on the screen, and 1PM was not one of them. I obviously wanted to get the 1,000 mile bonus for purchasing w/USAir, but I didn't want to screw around for too long so I just booked it through Travelocity...no problems. I then looked at the USAir site to look at the listed flights on that day, and it was listed. Has anyone else had this problem?

I had the same problem. I called the usairways.com help line and spoke with a rep. I told them the fare code and price of the ticket I found on expedia. (the tix was nota spacial expedia price). I told her I wanted to book at U's site, not expedia. She then did some digging and found the price and fare code, although it would have never have showed up on U's site. I therefore booked it through her. I think it's a major prob. with the site. The lowest fares are not showing up........

Don't forget that tickets can be cancelled within 24 hours, and this should be true for travelocity tickets too.
Thus if you purchase, then see the lower price, you can cancel the original ticket within a day and still buy the other. Of course you should buy the other first to make sure you get the cheaper fare..
