US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - 14,506 miles left -- what to do with them?
Over the years, I've flown US once in a rare while, and I've now got 14,506 miles. I doubt I'll be flying with them again any time soon, so I'm looking for ways to spend them.
What do you all suggest I do with the miles? Can I buy things other than flights using them?

They offer a montly e-statement discounted award offer where you can fly to and from a couple of different US cities for only 15,000 miles. If you can scrape up another 500 you can go to or from Memphis or Boston this month.
you can buy 500 miles and go somewhere on one of those discounted awards.

Here is the info for buying miles, not a good choice with $25 processing fee and .03 per mile and 2000 min.
Purchase Dividend Miles (http://www.buydividendmiles.points.com/)
However, if you don't receive an E-Statement that would be worth 500 miles.

If he does not get e-statements, he can subscribe to that for 500 miles - which will put him at 15,000. Answer one or two of those surveys that we all get and he will be at 16,000 miles.
From there, if he really wants, buy the ****ed miles - 4,000 will cost $145.
Now he's got enough for an off-peak ticket for U.S. destinations.
thanks for the info. I'll give that a try.

The $25 fee only applies to online mileage purchase. If you are booking the award ( w/res ) 14 day advance or more, we can include the mileage purchase along with your award reservation for LESS ! The online mileage purchase is really if you want to increase your balance before you book the award, or to gift the miles to someone else.

Back to the original post, you could donate the miles to charity if you don't think you'll use them.
