No, no, no... not Row 2!

Don't you remember chexfan Theory 183a: The Envoy Bulkhead Seat (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum51/HTML/002023.html)???

Guess Not! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif

I personally prefer rows 3 and 4, because I find the bulkhead rows have slightly less legroom. 5 is fine, too, but it's too close to the rear galley for my taste. Some really like the 6 and 7 mini-cabin, I don't because 6 is a bulkhead (legroom) and 7 is right ahead of coach bulkhead. That's where you'll find families with children, and some children tend to cause noise and commotion... There are several threads here that discuss everybody's preferences, a search should be easy.

As a meatlover, I take row 3 to ensure the choice of meals.

But with the passport system and the service, they could serve spam and I'd still be pretty happy. Then again, that would take a little extra champaign.

Row 2 seems to have less leg room for me and I'm only 6'2". The bulkhead gets in the way when I try to recline(I don't have exceptionally big feet, either) http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/biggrin.gif. Go for row 3 or 4.

Another thing - most of us prefer seats on the right aisle because it generally has less foot traffic during boarding. Of course if you end up in the front Envoy cabin (Rows 2-5) thats moot since boarding happens behind this section.

When I'm flying Envoy, it is usually with my wife. We like the center seats in row 3.

It's non-bulkhead, we generally get our choice of meals and we can get up overnight to use the lav without disturbing each other.

Of course, being in the center of the cabin allows me to be an equal opportunity snorer for the folks on both sides. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I second that -- I've only been in row 2 once on a last-minute upgrade -- very tight, tough to recline the seat all the way without hitting your feet against the front-- and I'm not tall!

I like rows 3, 4 or 5 on the side.

The center seats are fine, I agree. The only downside to the pair center seats is that if you are travelling with a companion, the FA's have to re-divide the serving assignments. That is to say seat C in envoy is assigned to the FA serving that side of the cabin, seat F is assigned to another FA serving the other side. When they find out that passengers in C & F are together as companions, they have to re-assign the serving duties.

It can cause a bit of service 'irregularity' but hopefully nothing too big.

I like Row 3 or 4, window seat, either side of cabin. I've never flow in one of the aisle/center seats but will be doing so in August.

For what it's worth, any seat is Envoy is fine with me and better than the alternative of coach.

Enjoy Envoy....
