Cruises - Caribbean Cruise Line?

Please forgive me if already posted and/or discussed.
I received this pamphlet in the mail from Caribbean Cruise Line, whom I've never heard of. It's a "voucher" for a free cruise for 2 from Palm Beach, FL on the Bahamas Celebration (yet again a cruise I've never heard of) to port in the Bahamas for one day and to return. It's a timeshare sell, which is pretty obvious. You also get another trip to Puerta Vallarta, Mexico or Las Vegas for 4 days/3nights. The only thing you pay is $59 for taxes. I'm not a gullible person and am not naive in any way, but I've been reading the fine print and if all you have to do is pay $59 and sit through a presentation, so be it...what say you? Any dealings with this before?

Does it say anything about also being forced to enjoy inferior and/or unsanitary accommodations, an unsafe ship, inedible food and unlikely companionship with others within the confines of a hopefully floating chunk of metal on precariously changeable seas and potentially treacherous weather? If it covers all those topics and you feel you can withstand guilt-inducing high pressure sales talks, then check with the Better Business Bureau and if it all adds up to positive feedback, maybe you are on to a cheap cruise to nowhere.

There's an extensive thread about Caribbean Cruise Line here:

It does look like it's a timeshare push.
Here's Cruise Critic's ship review: http://www.cruisecritic.com/reviews/review.cfm?ShipID=553

That's exactly what I figured, but since I couldn't find any other info on the internet or cruise review sites, I knew coming here to FT would give me the truth. Thanks.

I looked into one of these for a friend one time. There was so many gotcha's it would have wound up costing more than booking a nice vacation yourself. The free Mexico vacation probably had a requirement that you book through a specific provider would insist on booking airfare, transfers, taxes, fees, inside leg measurment throuigh their agency. The restrictions were limiting but for an extra fee you could book at the time of your choosing.
I am amazed that people still go for these "promotions".

You can book a 3-day cruise on Carnival or NCL for about what you'd pay for one of these "free" 2 day cruises on Caribbean Cruise Line, and Carnival's product is much better.
