Thai Airways Royal Orchid Plus - 772/ER Seat 16B, E

Hello.. am flying both legs of SIN-(BKK)-DXB on 1 January 2011 in J, and noticed on ExpertFlyer.com that seats 16B and E are always blocked on the 772 (both ER and non-ER versions). Are they blocked for check-in allocation, or blocked as crew rests?

Am asking because J class seems to be rather full, but am secretly still hoping to score a window seat with no seatmate :)

IME, these seats on light loads, have the blankets and manifests on them as you enter the plane, and 16B is often used as a crew rest later in the flight, as you commented. Not too many light loads on TG nowadays:(
