Anyone familiar with Memphis airport layout (rental car locations)? Long story as to why, but it would work out best price-wise for us to pick up a car from Enterprise to use for our 4 days in Memphis (wife is attending a conference and we'll do some local touring), and then rent a car from Dollar, also at the airport, for our 3-week trip to Baltimore. Google Maps says just under a mile between Enterprise and Dollar (latter is loated close to other rental facilities, while Enterprise seems to be by itself). Anyone know if that's about right? I'd probably drop off my wife, and luggage, at Dollar, drive to Enterprise to drop off the first car, then walk to Dollar (Google Maps says there's a bus for part of the way but doesn't look like I'd save much time, though it's something to consider if it's raining).
I assume Enterprise and Dollar are served by separate shuttle busses.

Are you going to the Enterprise on Airways Blvd? You really don't want to walk around the Memphis airport or take a city bus if an airport shuttle is available. If you are going to drop your wife and luggage at Dollar have her drive to Enterprise to pick you up. If that won't work catch the Enterprise shuttle to the airport and the Dollar shuttle back to meet your wife. The rental car facilities are a quick ride to/from the Memphis airport.
