Out of all the Harrah's (now Caesar's) properties which one has the best Diamond Lounge, and which has the most extensive food selection?

I would like to know this too. Going on New Year's.

I'd say Caesar's. YMMV

They all *suck* in Vegas; but basically Caesars and Paris. If you are solo, the bar at Paris is a decent place for a solo person to 'hang out.'

Unless, they put on special hours; don't get too excited, as they normally close around 8PM. Whereas Atlantic City is open until midnight on Friday and Saturday nights.

Caesars DL is nice, but the decor looks like a set out of the Jetsons. Paris is very nice and comfortable - almost all tables, not sofas and chairs like Caesars has (Caesars also has tables).

Both often have lines waiting to get in, especially before or during a big event like Cher, a slot tournament, or the Great Gift Wrapup.

The food is not particularly special at any of the DL's. Warm foods lately have been soggy chicken wings-type of stuff.

We go most often to Harrah's, where they are very friendly, and they remember us.

DL's are open 4-9 on weekdays, including Sunday, and Noon-9 on Fri and Sat. Hot food is only served for a short time, then after that it's just crudites, dips, pretzels, chips, and desserts. They blink the lights at 8:45 and let you take a drink out in a plastic cup. Most DL's have computers for you to use.

Overall, it's a really lovely benefit -- a major reason we like Harrah's/Caesars properties.

Caesars usually has the best food, but it seems dark and the crowd is more 'mature'--average around 50-55? Maybe that's good for you. I prefer Paris but as previously stated ymmv.

The Diamond Lounges in LAS generally serve hot food from 4 pm-6 pm (nothing spectacular, chicken wings and one other item--compared to AC where you get much more extensive hot food as well as sandwiches all day, during opening hours.)
I vote for Caesars ONLY because they have 4 computers, very useful for accessing the internet and/or printing boarding passes, if you don't bring your own.

I tried the Planet Hollywood lounge my last visit. The food was nothing different, but they had the largest flat panel TV of any lounge. We watched an NBA game in there and it was pretty quiet. The lounge is on the 2nd floor and kind of out of the way, so not sure if many people know about it.
