US Airways Dividend Miles (Pre-FlightFund Merger) - Ticket tax refunds from flight change?

My wife had this come up recently.

She was flying from MSY via PHL to DCA. She paid the applicable fares which
included a good amount in taxes - segment tax, passenger security fee tax,
facility surcharges, etc.

She got rerouted to the MSY-DCA non-stop due to equipment issues.

Theoretically, would she be entitled to a refund on the fees which were no
longer applicable? The PHL-DCA security tax, the PHL-DCA, segment tax, and
the PHL facility surcharge?

Depends on the situation... was it a voluntary change or did she volunteer on an oversold? Was there a schedule change? Is the record current or past date? Call Revenue/Accounting on Monday 1-877-257-5700.
It may be possible.
