SQ319 is beginning to start looking like a runner this evening and i've got a confirmed not cheap J class seat booked in the nick of time before the real cancellation pandemonium broke out on Saturday evening@LHR.Was wondering if the flight does go....and i assume a fair bit of bumping will be going on,will i be at risk of being bumped? Thanks for any input.....

You won't be bumped for someone from the cancelled flights.
The priority is for those booked onto your ticketed flight. I would recommend online check-in, arrive early to drop bags, etc as 'normal' flight overbooking will take place, and late arrivals (especially those who turn up in J as late as possible as a 'privilege') will be the ones bumped if anyone needs to get bumped. Go chill out in the lounge...
Couple of 1st class seats available still as well. Happy flying...

Many thanks for that...makes perfect sense.OLCI isnt open though, presumably as they want SQ308 on the ground first(i did notice the delayed arrival time has been pushed forward which is vaguely positive) .So risking it and going to LHR early does seem pretty inevitable.....just after saturday's malarchy one gets a bit weary of disappointment.

To conclude the thread just to say the aforementioned flight did get away at 02:30.For sure in this instance very much a case of better late than never....
