Many Thanks! John uschpr Feb 27, 02, 10:23 am Take a look at this thread. The only fare code that has been added since that thread is "I", which is full fare upgrade to first class. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum51/HTML/001118.html ITRADE Feb 27, 02, 10:32 am Full First: F Discount First: A Upgraded First from Discounted Fare: G Upgraded First from Full Fare: I First Award: D Full Business: J Discount Business: C Upgraded Business from Discounted Fare: O Business Award: E Full Coach: Y, B Shuttle Coach (unrestricted): U Discount Coach: H, K, M, Q, V Coach Award: Z hscottm Mar 7, 02, 10:11 am I have not seen this posted elsewhere, but it looks like I class (for upgrading expensive coach tickets) nets the 50% class-of-service bonus - just like F class has done for a while. Someone had noted a few weeks back that this might be a downside of the new inventory class - that we would lose the COS bonus from upgrading the expensive tickets.. Proof: I did a PIT-SFO and the activity for the flight noted 2253 actual miles, 3380 bonus miles (2253 of which would be for CP 100% bonus) and another 50% for class of service. I checked the Preferred miles, and they got added as if this were the case. ATC Mar 7, 02, 10:23 am I can verify your observation. 18-FEB-02 US 2296 I SJU PHL 1,576 2,364 3,940 <font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">Originally posted by hscottm: I have not seen this posted elsewhere, but it looks like I class (for upgrading expensive coach tickets) nets the 50% class-of-service bonus - just like F class has done for a while.</font> |
