Wanted to check a fare & the site is down for maint. Just to let everyone know.

Site is back as of 4:30am..The 3-Click system is installed again, and appears to be working.

Will be interesting to see if they remove it again.

Is anyone else having troulbe with the site this morning? Seems not to be working again (at least for me)

Timing out for me when I try to 'search' for flights.

Don't these guys have a dev server??

What really floors me is that their IT folks don't have an incredibly focused and tight change management process. Further, that they'd do something like this to the point where it runs into a workday (on a site that conceivably pulls in millions of $$$ in transactions/day).

Where I come from, pulling a stunt like this would result in immediate termination. Just think of all the lost revenue "wanna book an internet only fare? Check back later!"

I guess the "programmer" (singular) that Mr. Isom referred to might need some peer review....

I agree, you have a tight install at about 3am (or whenever the LOWEST point in your online booking is). Their lost revenue during things like is is just plain stupid.

Although, if you click on the "All Rights Reserved" hyperlink at the bottom, you get right into the regular site, and can use the navigation buttons at the right to go anywhere you want, including reservations.

3 click site is the way to go.
Users will leave if they cant find what they want within 3 clicks!
